Human Love

I trusted you
I believed
I clung to you
I loved
I nurtured you
I gave
I protected you
I served
I yielded to you
I submitted
I forgave you
I endured
I wanted you
I prayed
You hurt me
You lied
You failed me
You cheated
You're human
I understand
But this is over!

A Fairy Tale

Not one breath can I draw
Not one note can I sing
I am completely yours
Nothing else means a thing

When you but whisper
My heart skips a beat
When I look in your eyes
I'm filled with heat

This great love cannot be
Things like this don't happen to me
Things fade away, I know all too well
But with you it feels like I'm in a fairy tale

God Appeal

The world is faulty
Full of pitfalls
People are frail
They put up walls

We don't know what we want
We don't know what to say
We don't know where to go
Often times we lose our way

All this pain and frustration
Sets us up for the God appeal
What is carnal and appears
Those things aren't real

The God appeal is hope
It is positive confession
It is sworn love
It is eternal dedication
